Mean Habit is a queer, femme-forward, hardcore-inspired, post punk band from Carrboro, NC. Seething, palpable, raw rage meets poetic writing about highly personal experiences and their political contexts. Mean Habit screams about transphobic fetishization, intimate partner abuse’s role in patriarchy, and the reclamation of sites of dehumanization while rallying for autonomy, love, and the annihilation of capitalism.
